On CSN today Jim Salisbury reported that Amaro and Manuel had a closed-door meeting before yesterday’s game. Amaro said that is was just a conversation about how the Phillies can get better. One of the areas Salisbury noted was the starting pitching which, shockingly, in the last 33 games has an ERA of 5.26. Obviously that is really bad.
