Let’s See How Tough He is After Strasburg Is Done For The Year

So Davey Johnson of the Nationals has taken some pleasure in the Phillies trading players and being out of the race. According to blog, the 700 Level he said he had “no sympathy” for the Phillies and that the fire sale was “fun to watch”. I wouldn’t expect him to have any sympathy for a competitor, but his comments kind of ring hollow to me like Cole Hamels trying to be tough by hitting Bryce Harper. Moreover, Strasburg will be sitting the bench in a few weeks once he gets to 160 innings pitched, so it’s a little soon for hubris.
